You do not need to be home for cleanings. In fact, the most important thing we recommend is making sure there is a reliable way for your Homekeeper to get into your home. We generally recommend a garage code or a lockbox, because it is more secure than leaving a key under the mat (although you can do that too).

We try to send the same Homekeeper every time. If you pick a recurring service, we make sure that the same person is free to service your home on your schedule.
Of course, life happens, so your preferred Homekeeper can't always make it.  If that is the case, we will give the option of having someone fill in or skipping that cleaning.
Homekeepers can spend their time doing whatever you'd like, so they can definitely do some laundry.  Just remember that laundry will cut into time available for other things, and that most services are too tight on time to do many loads of laundry.
Move heavy furniture - but we can help clean after a move.
Accept deliveries - while at your house, we’re focused on cleaning.

Child care - we love children, but this is not our specialty.
Wash outside windows - we do our best work inside the home.

Carpet steam cleaning - our Dyson is powerful but doesn't steam!
Laundry or Ironing (unless you want to ask your Homekeeper to do this instead of clean)

Homekeepers set their own schedules, though, so please expect reduced availability on or around holidays.

NEAT Homekeepers have their own selection of cleaning products that are effective and non-toxic.  Our top priority is that these products are safe and will not damage the home.  If you'd like us to use a specific product or have a surface that requires special care, please leave that product out and create a note for your Homekeeper.  Please note that in this circumstance you will be responsible if your product causes damage.
Our Homekeepers bring the following green & safe solutions and equipment to complete cleanings in your home, including the following:
  • Vacuum
  • Mop
  • All Purpose Cleaner
  • Toilet & Shower Cleaner
  • Glass Cleaner
  • Sponges
  • Towels
If you would like anything specific, such as a solution for your specific floor, or stronger (our solutions are very safe), please provide them and leave a note online for your Homekeeper to use it.
Our Homekeepers do make the investment to come to your property, and they will make their best effort to try to complete the cleaning.  However, if they are unable to get into the home because of a mistake on your part, you will be billed 50% of the cost of your service to cover the cost of the Homekeeper's time.  This is one of the reasons we recommend having a reliable, but safe means of accessing your home, such as a lockbox.
You can cancel or pause your service anytime, there is no contract to use our service.
We do charge 50% of the cost of the cleaning for cancellations of a cleaning within 24 hours. Otherwise, there are no penalties or fees for cancelling your service.
NEAT pre-authorizes your credit card 24hrs prior to your scheduled appointment. Your credit card will then be charged day of service. If at any time that your card declines we reserve the right to cancel your scheduled cleaning.
NEAT offers recurring plans because we feel this is how we can provide the best services. We use your feedback to improve overtime. We want to find out your likes and dislikes, to make sure each cleaning is to your satisfaction. With our cancel anytime policy there really isn’t any risk to try!
Cleanings are available Monday-Saturday between the hours of 8am-4:30pm.
